"Google AI Overview" The Memoirs of the Archaeological Survey of India (MASI) is a prestigious, long-running series of scholarly publications by India's Archaeological Survey of India (ASI), documenting detailed reports, research, and findings on ancient Indian history, monuments, sites, and artifacts, available through official ASI sites, libraries, and digital archives like Internet Archive and Google Books. These publications, some dating back over a century, cover diverse topics from specific excavations (like Swat Valley) to architectural studies and linguistic analyses, showcasing Britain's early interest and India's continuing efforts in archaeology.
Iconic works like Ramaprasad Chanda’s Dates of the Votive Inscriptions on the Stupas at Sanchi and various volumes on Pallava Architecture.

A comprehensive series covering decades of archaeological findings.
Epigraphical Publications:
Includes the Annual Report on Indian Epigraphy, Epigraphia Indica, and specialized series like South Indian Inscriptions.
Ancient India:
Journal volumes featuring contributions from legendary figures like R.E.M. Wheeler.
Annual Reports:
Detailed ASI reports dating back to the early 20th century.
