The Indira Gandhi Rashtriya Manav Sangrahalaya (IGRMS), an autonomous organization under the Ministry of Culture, Government of India, is currently inviting applications for multiple contractual positions. Located in the scenic Shamla Hills of Bhopal, the museum is looking to fill vacancies for Project Interns, Research Interns, and Guest Faculty for a duration of six months.
Available Positions and Eligibility
IGRMS has notified openings for three specific roles. The details regarding compensation and eligibility are as follows:
Research Intern (01 Post): This position offers a consolidated monthly emolument of Rs. 50,000,. Candidates must be below 32 years of age and hold a Postgraduate degree as well as a Ph.D. in relevant disciplines such as Social/Physical Anthropology, Prehistory, Archaeology, or Conservation,. Additionally, one year of experience in a relevant discipline is mandatory.
Guest Faculty (01 Post): Designed for candidates below 32 years of age, this role offers a monthly salary of Rs. 37,000,. Essential qualifications include a Postgraduate degree in relevant fields, including Museology. While a Ph.D., UGC-NET qualification, and one year of teaching experience are desirable, the primary duty involves taking classes for PGDM students.
Project Intern (01 Post): IGRMS is seeking candidates below 28 years of age for this role, which pays a consolidated Rs. 35,000 per month,. Applicants requires a Postgraduate degree in relevant disciplines like Anthropology or Archaeology. The selected intern will handle documentation, report writing, and proposal writing.

The selection will be based on a walk-in interview scheduled for 13/02/2026 at 03:00 PM at the IGRMS campus in Shamla Hills, Bhopal,.
