ADMISSION NOTIFICATION: M.A. IN HISTORY & ARCHAEOLOGY AT CENTRAL UNIVERSITY OF HARYANA (BATCH 2026)

The Central University of Haryana has invited online applications for admission to its M.A. in History & Archaeology program for the academic session 2026-27. This admission process is conducted through the Common University Entrance Test (CUET) PG – 2026, which provides a single-window opportunity for students seeking entry into Central Universities across the country.


Key Examination Details The entrance examination will be a Computer-Based Test (CBT) scheduled to take place in March 2026.


Candidates interested in History and Archaeology must use the specific Test Paper Code: HUQP09 when filling out their application.

Important Dates for Applicants


  • Online Application Period: 14 December 2025 to 14 January 2026 (up to 11:50 P.M.).

  • Last Date for Fee Submission: 14 January 2026 (up to 11:50 P.M.).

  • Correction Window: 18 January 2026 to 20 January 2026 (up to 11:50 P.M.).

Eligibility Criteria To be eligible for the M.A. in History & Archaeology at the Central University of Haryana, candidates must possess a Bachelor's degree from any recognized university with a minimum of 50% marks or an equivalent grade in aggregate. A relaxation of 5% (reducing the requirement to 45%) is provided for candidates belonging to SC, ST, PWD, and OBC (Non-Creamy Layer) categories. To know more click here

  • Candidates are restricted to submitting only one application; multiple forms will lead to rejection.
