Vacancy: ASSSR inviting applications for multiple posts (Intern to Assistant Professor) in Heritage Studies and others

The Asiatic Society for Social Science Research (ASSSR) (Estd. under the

Societies Registration Act XXI of 1860) invites online applications from eligible

candidates for appointment to various positions across ASSSR and its Component Units, including internships, Governing Body roles, Assistant Professorships, and Editorial positions.


  1. Abbreviations used: ASSSR – Asiatic Society for Social Science Research, VMI – Varahamihira Multidisciplinary Institute, JASSS – Journal of Asiatic Society for Social Science Research, DHC – Deccan History Congress.

Please note that the advertisement no. 01(2025) dated 03.05.2025 (Summer Internship) has been cancelled.
