Sahitya Akademi, India’s Premier Literary Institution dedicated to promoting and preserving literature in 24 Indian languages, invites applications for the following positions to be filled on a direct recruitment basis:

KEY ELIGIBILITY OVERVIEW
Administrative & Editorial: Deputy Secretary requires a Master's degree in Language or Business/Public Administration (55% min.) and 7 years of administrative experience at Level 10 or above. Assistant Editor requires a relevant PG degree, proficiency in English/Hindi, and 5 years of copy-editing/production experience.
Technical & Professional Assistants: High-level positions in Library Science, Book Publishing, Translation, and Event Management requiring specialized degrees, diplomas, and relevant organizational experience.
Secretarial & Clerical: Stenographers require a 10+2 qualification with 80 w.p.m. shorthand and typing skills. Junior Clerks require a 10+2 qualification with net typing speed of 35 w.p.m. in English or 30 w.p.m. in Hindi.
Support Staff (Drivers/MTS/Messenger): 10th or 12th pass with driving license, motor mechanics, or multi-skilling as per the post.
