Essential Qualifications and Eligibility
Candidates must possess the Minimum Essential Qualification as per existing UGC norms (UGC Regulation, 2018), along with any additional UGC Regulations issued in continuation of the 2018 Regulation, if applicable. Other terms and conditions will be available on the University website.

Application Process
Apply Online Only: Eligible and interested candidates are required to apply online only through the Gauhati University website, www.gauhati.ac.in, at the Teaching Recruitment Candidate Portal.
Application Fee: The fee for the post is Rs. 1500/- (Rupees One Thousand Five Hundred only). For SC/ST candidates, the application fee is Rs. 750/- (Rupees Seven hundred Fifty) only. Payment must be made online, as no other mode of payment will be accepted.
Hard Copy Submission: After submitting the online application, a duly signed hard copy (pdf) of the completed application(s) must be submitted, along with all necessary enclosures (including proof of application fee submission), to The Registrar, Gauhati University, Guwahati-781014, Assam. The envelope must be super-scribed "Application for the post of ______________, Gauhati University, Advt. No. T/2025/3".
The University reserves the right to short-list eligible applicants, and mere fulfillment of academic qualifications does not guarantee being called for an interview. Candidates are advised to check the University website for any changes or updates.
