Educational Qualifications:
Candidates must hold a Master’s degree in one of the following from a recognized University/Institute:
Master degree in Archaeology or Master degree in Indian History (with Ancient Indian History or Medieval Indian History as a subject or paper);
or
Master degree in Anthropology (with stone-age Archaeology as a subject or paper)
or
Master degree in Geology (with Pleistocene Geology as a subject or paper) from a recognized University or Institute.
Job Responsibilities:
Assist in archaeological explorations, excavations, reporting, and publication.
Supervise and document archaeological materials, including cataloguing and indexing.
Ensure safe custody and transportation of excavated materials for study/exhibition.
Prepare cultural/technical notes on monuments and antiquities.
Guide visitors at excavated sites, monuments, or exhibitions as required.

Last date and time for receipt of online applications: 23.06.2025 (Up to 2300 Hrs.)
Application Fee: ₹100 (exempted for Women, SC, ST, PwBD, and Ex-Servicemen)
Fee Payment Deadline: 24.06.2025 (up to 23:00 hrs)
Correction Window: 28.06.2025 to 30.06.2025 (up to 23:00 hrs)
