Essential Qualifications


Draftsman (Civil) [Cat. No. 3]:


  1. Education: Matriculation.

  2. Technical: Diploma or Certificate in Civil Engineering or Draftsmanship (Civil) from a recognized institution or college.

Archaeology

 Technical Assistant [Cat. No. 43]:


Option A: At least 2nd Class Master's Degree in Ancient Indian History with Culture or Archaeology or Medieval Indian History.

Option B: At least 2nd Class Master’s Degree in Sanskrit, Arabic, Persian, Pali, or Prakrit AND Bachelor of Arts with Medieval Indian History or Ancient Indian History as one of the subjects.



Assistant Archaeologist [Cat. No. 44]:


Candidates must meet one of the following criteria:

  1. 2nd Division Master’s Degree (min. 50% marks) in Ancient Indian History with Culture or Archaeology or Medieval Indian History.

  2. 2nd Division Master’s Degree (min. 50% marks) in Sanskrit, Arabic, Persian, Pali, or Prakrit with Medieval/Ancient Indian History at B.A. Level AND a Post Graduate Diploma in Archaeology from the School of Archaeology, ASI.

  3. Post Graduate Diploma in Archaeology from the School of Archaeology, Archaeological Survey of India (ASI).

  4. M.Phil in Ancient Indian History or Medieval Indian History.

Archives Department

The Archives Department is responsible for maintaining historical records and documents. The vacancies here are specialized and require a strong background in History or Persian script.

Essential Qualifications


Assistant Archivist [Cat. No. 45]:


  1. Option A: 2nd Class Master’s degree in History with an optional paper on the post-1600 period of Indian History from a recognized university.

  2. Option B: 2nd Class Master’s degree in Persian with adequate knowledge of Shikasta script and Indian History of the post-1600 period in B.A..

  3. Mandatory Technical Qualification: Diploma in Archives Keeping.

Note for Ex-Servicemen: The requirement is a Master’s degree in History (with the post-1600 paper) OR Master's in Persian (with Shikasta script knowledge and History in B.A.).

Language: You must have studied Hindi or Sanskrit as one of the subjects in Matriculation or Higher Education.


Age Limit: 18–42 years (Age relaxation applies for reserved categories as per Haryana Govt instructions).
