Patanjali Research Institute, located in Haridwar, India, is looking for highly motivated and qualified individuals to join its ambitious Encyclopedia of World History project. The institute is hiring for the roles of Assistant Scientist and Scientist to contribute to this groundbreaking initiative.


Project Focus and Role Requirements


The project is focused on uncovering archaeological, geological, and anthropological evidence related to human origins, migration patterns, and ancient settlements, with a special emphasis on India's rich history.


Available Positions and Educational Requirements:


  • Assistant Scientist: Masters with Ancient Indian History, Culture and Archaeology / Archaeology and Heritage Management / Archaeology, and Ancient Indian History with 2 years of work experience or above.

  • Scientist: PhD in above cited subjects with 2 years of work experience or above.

It is mandatory to possess a Master's degree only in the subjects cited above; candidates with degrees in other fields, such as Modern History, are requested to refrain from applying.

Essential Candidate Criteria:


  • Experience: A minimum of 2 years of relevant work experience is preferred. However, highly skilled candidates with a strong command on the subject who do not meet the experience requirement are also encouraged to apply.


  • Skills: Strong research and analytical skills are required, along with excellent documentation and writing abilities, and the capacity to work effectively as part of a team.


Key Responsibilities:


Selected candidates will be responsible for conducting in-depth research and analysis of historical and archaeological data, contributing to the development of research papers, participating in field visits to historic sites in India, and other regular office works.


Compensation and Application Process:


  • Starting Salary: For candidates with experience, the starting salary is ₹25,000.

  • Interviews: Interviews will be conducted online.
