The Directorate of Archaeology and Museums, Department of Cultural Affairs, Government of Maharashtra, has announced a major recruitment drive for the World Bank-assisted "Maharashtra Strengthening Institutional Capabilities in Districts for Enabling Growth Project" (MahaSTRIDE)
The project aims to conserve and promote Maharashtra’s rich cultural heritage—including forts, temples, caves, petroglyphs, paintings, architecture, and performing arts—while simultaneously boosting cultural tourism. To achieve this, a Project Implementation Unit (PIU) is being established and is actively seeking top-tier talent on a contractual basis.
