An exciting opportunity awaits archaeologists in Dubai! The Government of Dubai is looking for talented expatriates across various sectors, offering attractive salaries. Dubai Culture & Arts Authority announces vacancies for archaeologists.

Eligibility Criteria:

· A Bachelor’s degree in Archaeology, History or any relevant field from an accredited university

· 5-7 years of relevant work experience

Role:

· Providing expertise and advice for works related to Archaeological Sites and Research Department and the Department of Antiquities.

· Preparing regulations, policies, and work guides for antiquities and developing archaeological sites.

· Participate in developing principles and controls to manage and direct operations and improve productivity.

· Strengthening relationships with internal and external partners to ensure the provision of standardized services.

· Develop programs that enhance learning, development, training, and motivation to ensure the highest quality services.

· Participate in preparing studies, research, books, reports, bulletins, and periodicals on archaeological sites and the results of archaeological surveys and excavation.

· Participate in preparing studies and research on various archaeological sites in accordance with the department’s plan, and contribute to planning the promotion and management of archaeological sites.

· Supervising the classification and registration of artifacts discovered through excavations, and documenting them.

· Participation in local and regional workshops, seminars and conferences related to archaeological projects.

· Carry out all assigned tasks and responsibilities in accordance with the Authority’s approved information security and confidentiality policy and within the limits of the granted powers.

· Perform other duties and responsibilities related to the job as assigned.
