Eligibility: Graduate degree (min. 50% marks) from a recognized university. Background in Social Sciences, Liberal Arts, or Fine Arts is desirable.

Eligibility: Graduate degree (min. 50% marks) in Pure/Applied Sciences, Architecture, Engineering, Fine Arts, Social Sciences, or Humanities AND 10+2 schooling in Science stream.
No of Seats: 15
Eligibility: Graduate degree (min. 50% marks) in Science, Social Science, or Humanities from a recognized university. Background/PG Diploma in Art History or Museum Studies is desirable.

Eligibility: Graduate/Postgraduate degree (min. 50% marks) in specific subjects including History, Archaeology, Ancient Indian History/Culture/Archaeology, Sanskrit, Pali, Buddhist Studies, Prakrit, Jain Studies, Life Sciences, Earth Sciences, Anthropology, History of Art, Museology, Art Conservation, Palaeography, Epigraphy, or Numismatics.

Palaeography, Epigraphy & Numismatics (M.A)
Eligibility: Graduate degree (min. 50% marks) with specific subject combinations in History, Ancient Indian History/Culture/Archaeology, Art History, or Classical Languages (Sanskrit, Tamil, Pali, Prakrit, Arabic, Persian, etc.). Alternative pathways include relevant papers or diplomas. (Refer to the official notice for detailed options).

Reservation: Seat reservation for SC/ST/OBC(NCL)/PwBD/EWS categories will be implemented as per Government of India rules. Relevant certificates must be submitted with the application.
Admission Process:
A written entrance examination (1 hour 30 minutes, 70 marks) specific to the chosen subject.
Personal Interaction (30 marks).
Final selection based on combined performance (Written Test + Personal Interaction).

Application Method: Download the prescribed form from the IIH website (www.nmi.gov.in). Duly filled forms, supported by self-attested copies of testimonials (age proof, educational qualifications), must be posted to:

Application Fee: ₹ 300/- (₹ 150/- for SC/ST candidates). Payment via Cash/UPI/Bank Transfer. Reference details must be filled in the form.
Course Selection: Clearly mention the course applied for on the application form.
Multiple Applications: Candidates applying for more than one course must submit separate application forms and fees for each course.
Shortlisting: Only shortlisted candidates will be called for the Written Test and Personal Interaction.

Travel: No travel allowance will be provided for attending the Written Test or Personal Interaction.
