New Delhi: The National Test Agency ( NTA ), has cancelled the UGC NET June 2024 Examination due to potential security breaches and integrity compromises. The examination, which was conducted on June 18, 2024, in pen and paper mode across various cities in India, has been deemed invalid.
According to sources, the National Testing Agency (NTA) received inputs from the National Cyber Crime Threat Analytics Unit of the Indian Cyber Crime Coordination Centre (I4C) under the Ministry of Home Affairs, suggesting that the examination's integrity may have been compromised. Following this, the Education Ministry decided to cancel the examination to ensure the highest level of transparency and sanctity of the examination process.
A fresh examination will be conducted, and new dates will be announced soon. The matter has also been handed over to the Central Bureau of Investigation (CBI) for a thorough investigation. Any individual or organization found to be involved in the alleged irregularities will face severe action.
Candidates who appeared for the examination are advised to stay tuned for updates on the re-scheduled examination dates and other relevant information. Inarch Center will also provide updates on this matter as more information becomes available.
