About the Museum:
Blades Of Glory was inaugurated in 2012 by Sachin Tendulkar and has the title of The Castle of Cricket. Rohan Pate, a cricketer and the founder of the museum, envisions it as a haven for cricket enthusiasts. The museum gives a unique opportunity for cricket fans to immerse themselves in their passion by the extensive collection of cricket memorabilia and artifacts under one roof. It houses about 75,000 pieces. The museum's primary mission is to preserve and share the golden moments of cricket from the past with future generations. It also seeks to support talented individuals who lack resources or opportunities, and the monetary profits generated are utilized to build a cricket community.
Blades Of Glory preserves the rich history, cultural significance, and collective achievements of cricket. It offers visitors an immersive experience that celebrates the sport's heritage while serving as an inspiration for future generations.
The details for the internship are as follows-
Internship type: Paid Duration: 2 months Location: Pune
Responsibility: -Cataloguing, Digitization & Documentation and Assist with archival exhibitions and Metadata management
Eligibility:
-Pursuing Bachelor’s/ Master’s degree in Archival Management, Museology, or Conservation
-Strong interest in museum work, documentation and heritage
-Good research and organizational skills
