ICOMOS India invites you all to join the webinar on October 8th 2022 at 3:00 pm highlighting potential World Heritage Sites in North East India.
Four sites from the North East are currently on UNESCO’s tentative list, including:
- River Island of Majuli
- Moidams – the Mound, Garo Hills Conservation Area
- Jingkiengjri – Living Root Bridge, Namdapha National Park
- Apatani Cultural Landscape
Panelists will discuss these along with other sites with potential Outstanding Universal Value from the region, some of which are the Kangla Fort, Rang-Ghar, Talatol-Ghar & Kareng-ghar, Kochari Fort, Neer Mahal, Koch Royal Palace, as well as Norbugang, Yuksam and Tawang Monastery.
