DSSSB Recruitment 2026 – Archivist & Technical Assistant Posts at Delhi Archives

The Delhi Subordinate Services Selection Board (DSSSB) has released Advertisement No. 03/2026, inviting applications for several posts under the Government of NCT of Delhi. Among these, two vacancies under the Department of Delhi Archives are especially relevant for students and graduates from History, Archives, Hindi, and related disciplines.

📌 Post 1: Assistant Archivist Grade-I – Post Code 33/26

Pay Scale:	₹35,400 – ₹1,12,400 (Level 6)
Age Limit:	Up to 30 years (To know about reservation read official notification)
Educational Qualification: Master’s Degree in History with a paper in Modern Indian History. Diploma in Archives and Record Management from a recognized university/institute.  Both qualifications are mandatory.
Desirable Qualification:	Certificate Course in Microsoft Office.

The recruitment will be conducted through a One Tier Technical Examination (Computer-Based Test).

Note:- In One Tier Technical Examination Scheme, the mandatory minimum qualifying marks will be applicable only in domain subject specific i.e. Section-B and there will not be any minimum qualifying marks in Section-A. However, mandatory minimum qualifying marks criteria will be applicable on the cumulative marks secured in both the sections. Further, combined marks of both Section-A and Section-B will be reckoned for preparing the final merit list. DSSSB reserves the right to change/amend the examination scheme, if so required, any time before the examination.

Application Fee

1. ₹100 for General/OBC candidates.

2. Women candidates, SC, ST, PwBD, and Ex-Servicemen are exempt from paying the fee.
