About the institution:
Sahitya Sansthan (Institute of Rajasthan Studies) was established in 1941, and is a unit under the Janardan Rai Nagar Rajasthan Vidyapeeth (JRNR) (Deemed-to-be University). JRNR was established in 1937, and played an important role in education and community development since the Indian freedom movement. It is a NAAC ‘A’ Grade University.
Academic and Research Orientation:
The institute offers a holistic approach, providing practical training in archaeological explorations and excavations, as well as hands on experience in maintaining Archival records. It also has a well-equipped library. The institute also indulges in Ethnoarchaeological researches.
