Being in this group depends on our trust of one another. Some discussions may be sensitive or contain sensitive information, so what’s said in the group should stay in the group.
No sales or spam
No selling to or spamming other members is allowed in this group. Anyone who does so will be subject to immediate removal.
No harassment of any kind
Bullying, targeting, or attacking a member of this group is not allowed and will not be tolerated.
Moderation Procedures
Moderators act as the guardians of the community. They have the authority to: Monitor: Review active discussions to ensure compliance with the Code of Conduct. Delete/Hide Content: Remove messages that violate group rules to prevent further escalation. Issue Warnings: Provide formal notices to users for minor or first-time infractions. Mediate: Step into heated debates to de-escalate tension before it turns into a violation.
The "Three-Strike" Escalation Policy
To ensure fairness, a tiered system is typically applied for non-critical violations: Strike 1 (Warning): A formal private message or public notification identifying the violation. Strike 2 (Temporary Mute): The user is restricted from posting for a set period (e.g., 24–72 hours). Strike 3 (Termination): Permanent removal from the group. Note: Severe violations (e.g., sharing illegal content or making threats of violence) bypass this system and result in Immediate Termination.
Termination & Banning
Termination refers to the permanent removal of a user’s access to the chat group. Grounds for Termination: Repeated violations after warnings, severe single-incident misconduct, or attempts to circumvent previous mutes/bans. Appeal Process: Users may appeal a ban by contacting the administration via a designated channel, provided the ban was not for a "Zero Tolerance" violation. Re-entry: Once terminated, a user is prohibited from creating "alt" accounts to rejoin. Discovery of such accounts will lead to an immediate ban on the new ID.
Privacy & Data Handling
Moderators will not share the logs of private warnings or the personal details of moderated users with the general public. However, logs of violations are kept internally for record-keeping and to justify termination if an appeal is filed.
